Implementation of a new identity number for all citizens
Ineke Ruiter of IDManagement Centre has played the leading role by the development and implementation of a new identity number.
Program management responsible for the development and implementation of a completely new system of unique identity numbers for all citizens in the Netherlands. This new system is conditional for a reliable and secure (electronic) exchange of personal data, electronic services/eGovernment and for preventing identity fraud. Implementation is scheduled for 2006.
