The facts behind e-passports and RFID technology.Hardly a week goes by without a newspaper or weblog publishing sensational news — and mostly negative — claims about e-passports. On closer analysis, most of these stories are based on earlier reports, some dating back three years or more. Unfortunately the vast majority of these stories are based on misconceptions and fallacies. The trouble with incorrect and incomplete articles is that they are often repeated, reprinted, and regurgitated for years to come. The article attempts to address many current misconceptions and fears.
